Add your first product
Create a physical product or service with its price and stock details.

Step by step
- Open Products and choose Add product.
- In Basics, enter the Name and choose the Product type.
- Set pricing and tax as needed. Add identifiers such as SKU and Barcode.
- For a stocked physical item, turn on Track inventory in Unit & stock, choose the unit and set a Reorder point if needed.
- Use Add opening stock to enter a location, quantity and unit cost for existing stock.
- Choose Save product. Check any incomplete-section message before continuing.
Good to know
Opening stock belongs to a location. A service and a physical item have different stock fields.
If you get stuck
Check required fields and any section errors. If you cannot add a product, ask the owner about permissions and plan limits.
Available actions depend on your role, enabled modules and plan.
