Open a register shift

Select a cashier and record the opening cash.

Step by step

  1. Open the paired POS and select your staff profile.
  2. Enter your PIN.
  3. Enter Opening cash, checking the suggested opening float.
  4. Choose Start register or Start shift and confirm the correct location before selling.

Good to know

The opening float is configured in Settings → POS. Check cash physically rather than assuming the suggested value is correct.
