Block or unblock a batch

Stop a lot being allocated anywhere until its block is resolved.

Step by step

  1. Open the product and its Batches section.
  2. Find the intended batch and choose its block action.
  3. Enter Why is it blocked? with the specific reason, then choose Block batch.
  4. When authorised to release it, choose Unblock batch and confirm.

Good to know

A blocked batch cannot be sold, transferred or adjusted anywhere. The reason is kept with the batch and quoted in its recall trail. Unblocking restores availability with its recorded quantity.
