Record shelf locations

Describe where an item sits inside a branch.

Step by step

  1. Open Settings → Inventory → Shelf locations.
  2. Enable Record shelf locations.
  3. Use the Shelf field on stock and count lines to record the storage position.
  4. Keep shelf descriptions consistent so other staff can find the item.

Good to know

A shelf is a position inside a location, not a second stock figure or an extra branch.
