Configure register behaviour and cash controls

Set POS security, cashier limits and shift defaults.

Step by step

1. Open Settings → POS.
2. Review Idle lock, PIN length and Cashier discounts.
3. Choose whether to Require customer, Allow manual prices and require manager approval for refunds and voids.
4. Review Negative stock and Default location.
5. In Cash management, set Opening float, closing-count requirements and Variance tolerance.
6. Check the register before the next shift.
