Set default tax and tax-inclusive pricing

Choose the workspace rate and how prices include tax.

Step by step

  1. Open Settings → Taxes.
  2. Enter Default tax rate.
  3. Choose whether to Include tax in prices.
  4. Save and review a sample product and checkout total.

Good to know

A product with its own rate overrides the workspace default. With inclusive pricing, the typed price is what the customer pays; otherwise tax is added at checkout. Country suggestions are not a substitute for checking your applicable rate.
